Welcome to the 6th Avenue Animal Clinic and Clinton Hill Animal Clinic blog! Our Brooklyn veterinary hospitals are conveniently located in Park Slope and Clinton Hill, provide your pets with the care they need, our blog is intended to provide pet owners with information to help them best care for your pet. We believe that our animal hospitals need to serve its community not petsonly through direct animal care but also through ongoing advice and education. We hope you will consult this blog regularly to keep yourself up to date on the latest pet health news, helpful tips for keeping your pet healthy, and other information that will benefit both you and your special friend.

If you stumbled onto this blog without any previous knowledge of our facilities-- have a look around! This website provides a wealth of information about our philosophy and services. We hope you will enjoy exploring it in full. Just to set aside any initial confusion -- yes, we do have two separate Animal Clinics. Veterinarian Dr. Pamella Dendtler opened the 6th Avenue Animal Clinic in Park Slope, back in 1983, and we have been going strong ever since. In 2009 Dr. Dendtler opened the Clinton Hill Animal Clinic.

Our Veterinarians Recommend Preventative Care


At both the 6th Avenue Animal Clinic and the Clinton Hill Animal Clinic, some of our services include examinations, consultations, internal medicine, pet vaccinations, pet dental cleaning, dietary planning pet dermatology spay and neuter. We also offer cat boarding, travel certificates and pharmaceutical support. You can even contact us to arrange house calls if necessary!
