Dr. Pamella Dendtler
Dr. Pamella Dendtler, a Brooklyn native, attended Cornell University for her undergraduate studies and received her professional degree in veterinary medicine and surgery from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978. She completed a medical and surgical postgraduate internship at the Animal Medical Center in NYC. Her special interest within the field is internal medicine.
In 1983, she opened the 6th Avenue Animal Clinic, in Park Slope Brooklyn. In 2009, she opened her second practice in Brooklyn, the Clinton Hill Animal Clinic.
Outside of the office, Dr. Dendtler has cared for animals of several organizations including: Radio City Music Hall, the Universe Soul Circus, and the Federation of Black Cowboys. Through the years Dr. Dendtler and her staff have contributed to the community by visiting schools to promote veterinary medicine as a career and to emphasize the significance of education and the importance of responsible pet care at home.
Dr. Dendtler is the mother of two children. When not at the office, she spends time doing community service at her Church, where she mentors children and takes them on special outings to experience cultural events. Her favorite pass time is gardening.
